A fully supported 6 day camp offering both triathletes and cyclists an opportunity for volume, in one of the most beautiful and unique training areas of California.

The goal of this six day camp will be to provide a well timed boost to your fitness in preparation for early summer 70.3 and Ironman races. With a focus on volume and race ready training, the camp provides a great platform to get you psyched and ready for your season.

The skills focus will include swim video analysis and TT pacing techniques, plus seminars focused on race preparation and nutrition. Intertwined throughout the itinerary will be key Solvang training routes. Athletes who have already completed a 70.3/Ironman event and/or those who have completed a century ride. Once again, we also welcome pure cyclists. We will have 2 or 3 groups of different paced cyclists out on the road which allows scope for a variety of paces and experience levels. If you are unsure about the suitability of this camp for you, please email the Camp Director: Email

If you are debating between bringing a road bike or triathlon bike to this camp and have the choice, then our recommendation is to bring a road bike. Gearing should be set up to allow the rider to tackle long climbs as well as steep ones, with preferably a rear cassette with a 27 tooth cog. For a week long camp a road bike offers more comfort and is more suitable to the terrain offered with this itinerary. The exception to this would possibly present if you are racing within a month of this camp and need time on your triathlon bike in prep for your race.

The Meadowlark Inn - host hotel is located just 1.75 miles from the center of Solvang. It is positioned near the outdoor pool, track and just 1/3 mile from a quaint grocery store. All camp activities start from this hotel and a nice breakfast is included in the accommodation price!

The inn has a variety of rooms available with a few of each room type. Standard single occupancy rooms start at $95 per night and standard double occupancy rooms (couple rate) at $120. For shared rooms with two beds, rates are $160 per room ($80 per person). There are also suites available with indoor Jacuzzi tubs. All rates include breakfast.
